1. Sleepless in Seattle. John's a lonely widower with a young child. Rodney hears John's voice on a late night talk show.

Intrigue! Sparks! Happy Ending!


2. While You Were Sleeping. John has loved Nancy from afar, even though they've never said more than good morning to each other.
When she's struck down in an accident and left in a coma, John finds himself taken under the wing of her adoptive parents and siblings. He meets Jeannie and Rodney. Figuring out that's he's attracted to Rodney - deep down in the soul attracted, throws him for a loop but he eventually figures it out.

3. Lover Come Back (1961)

A series of misunderstandings leaves an advertising executive with a campaign for a product which has not yet been invented, while he romances his rival in the guise of its inventor.

Oooo, I am super interested in #3, though all of these are great~

1. Three Men and a Baby: Three male roommates find themselves caring for a baby one of them didn't know he had. They start out doing everything wrong and hating it, but end up being awesome dads. And perhaps two of the roommates discover they want to be more. (Or all three for polyamory times.) Cast the Atlantis bros of your choice!

2. Cutthroat Island: Pirates! Romance! Mayhem! The movie had a lady pirate, but of course you can cast this however you want. (I always default to McShep, but there are plenty of characters on Atlantis that could fit in here nicely!)

3. National Treasure: This movie has treasure hunting, historical puzzles, a goofy sidekick, a very smart museum curator, and a renegade treasure hunter with daddy issues. I know how I'd cast it, but I'd love to see what someone else comes up with. ::grins::

mirabile and I already wondered about a fusion and/or crossover with Aquaman! Is Arthur Curry Ronon's alternate universe doppelganger? A long lost relative? Is it an Aquaman AU with the SGA crew in that AU setting? Maybe they're exploring the depths with a puddlejumper and something goes horribly wrong (oh no, Rodney, whales!)
